Working out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, we are Something Cool Tattoo! Our team puts a lot of effort into creating a safe and happy environment where our artists can focus on creating beautiful artwork by means of tattooing. We are always looking for talented and passionate artists to join our team. 

First and foremost, the Something Cool Tattoo team recognizes the difficult and challenging task of obtaining a work visa. Our team does everything in our power to secure valid Canadian work visas and working holiday visas for our artists so that they are able to safely and legally work in Canada. If you are considering moving to Canada now or in the future, our team also helps our artists obtain permanent residency status by working alongside authorized experts that aid in the transition from a work visa to permanent residency status. As of 2024, our team has helped many of our Korean artists to secure work placements in Canada by processing work visas and green cards. 

Moving away from home and starting a new life is a daunting task that brings along lots of uncertainties. The Something Cool Tattoo team recognizes how this fear of the unknown may discourage many from taking on this path. In order to create a welcoming and happy environment where artists can focus solely on their work, our team assists our artists with various aspects such as finding accommodation and other essential services. We want to ensure that our artists have a comfortable transition into their new environment! 

We greatly value the work and talent of our artists and strive to provide competitive commission rates. Our artists take home 100% of the tips given by clients alongside their earnings from commission. Our team offers commissions to artists based on hourly rates: 

• Senior Artist 70-75% +5% GST + TIP
• Junior Artist 60% +5% GST + TIP
• Apprentice Artist 50% +5% GST + TIP
